Dick’s Resolves Trademark Infringement Suit With Overtime Sports

Online sports network Overtime Sports Inc. and Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. ended their trademark fight over Dick’s “Overtime” discount stores, according to a filing in Brooklyn federal court.

Overtime’s July complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York said it operates as a sports network on social media platforms focusing on “young, digital-native sports fans.” The company said that over the past two years, it has also sold a popular casual clothing line under the “Overtime” mark worn by athletes including Odell Beckham Jr., Kevin Durant, and Dwyane Wade.
