DataBank Holdings Ltd. and Valtrus Innovations Ltd. ended their patent-infringement dispute concerning data-center cooling systems.
DataBank, Valtrus, and Key Patent Innovations Ltd.—the beneficiary of Valtrus’ patents—asked for the dispute be dismissed in a joint motion filed Jan. 16 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The companies notified the court earlier in January that they’d reached a settlement.
Valtrus and Key Patent sued DataBank and TierPoint LLC in separate lawsuits in September 2024, alleging the companies infringed seven patents. They settled with TierPoint in November.
