The Federal Circuit reinforced Comcast Cable Communications LLC’s victory in a patent case over alleged infringement through the company’s use of voice command technology and its XFinity My Account application.
Patent owner NexStep Inc. challenged in a May 2022 appeal a Delaware federal judge’s interpretation of one of the nine patents it asserted against Comcast and a related finding that the patent hadn’t been infringed.
