CNBC ‘The Profit’ Host Alleged to Take Dozens of Companies’ IP (1)

More than 50 former small businesses are accusing Marcus Lemonis, the host of CNBC’s reality show “The Profit,” of running an expansive racketeering ring that ruined their businesses by stealing their intellectual property, trade secrets, and money, according to a new filing in an ongoing case.

The businesses, included in a lawsuit by women’s clothing store owners Nicolas Goreau and Stephanie Menkin, allege Lemonis uses his access to the businesses featured on “The Profit” to steal their trademarks and apply them to unlicensed products sold through Lemonis’ business, Camping World.
