Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade Settle Intercurrency Patent Suit

Charles Schwab & Co. settled out of a patent litigation campaign brought by Intercurrency Software LLC against businesses that operate trading platforms.

Intercurrency and Charles Schwab submitted a joint stipulation to Judge Rodney Gilstrap of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Thursday, requesting the court dismiss with prejudice all claims against Schwab and several of its affiliates.

Gilstrap previously granted a similar request to dismiss Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC from the same consolidated lawsuit in July. Morgan Stanley & Co. remains a defendant in the case.
