Fitness trainer Tracy Anderson sued former employee Megan Roup and her company The Sculpt Society alleging copyright infringement and breach of contract over accusations of stolen choreography. Now, Roup is requesting that the court dismiss Anderson’s case.
Anderson’s lawsuit claiming that Roup stole exercise sequences and confidential information to build her own fitness brand, “is a frivolous and unprovoked effort to bully a rising competitor,” according to the motion filed Tuesday in California federal court.
