Celeb Fitness Trainer Sues Ex-Employee Over Alleged Stolen Moves

Fitness trainer Tracy Anderson aims to square off legally against former employee Megan Roup and her company The Sculpt Society in a copyright infringement suit filed Monday over accusations of stolen choreography.

Roup worked at Anderson’s New York-based company, “Tracy Anderson Mind and Body” whose clients have included celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, as a trainer from 2011 to 2017 before leaving to start her own fitness company. During her time with the company, Roup signed an agreement which prohibits her from using or disclosing confidential company information, including “the TA Method’s proprietary choreography movements, sequences, and routines.” ...
