Medical apparel company Careismatic Brands LLC and Workwear Outfitters LLC agreed to end their dispute concerning patents for shirts that enhance mobility.
The competitors requested the court dismiss the dispute without prejudice, according to a joint stipulation filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Central District of California. Careismatic and Workwear said each party will bear its own fees and costs.
Careismatic sued in November 2023 seeking a declaratory judgment for noninfringement after Workwear sent a notice alleging its FORM by Cherokee women’s zip front scrub jacket infringed US Patent Nos. 10,085,490 and 11,051,559.
