Competing ready-to-drink cocktail makers agreed to drop one of two BuzzBallz LLC patents from their lawsuit after a reexamination process at the US Patent and Trademark Office.
BuzzBallz and Beverage Ranch LLC agreed to drop allegations concerning US Patent No. 11,338,955, according to a joint motion and stipulation filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. The agreement is in light of amendments made to the patent’s claims during ex parte reexamination, the filing said.
