BuzzBallz Accuses Beverage Rival of Copying Canned Cocktails

BuzzBallz Inc. accused rival Texas alcoholic drink company the Beverage Ranch LLC of mimicking its ball-shaped, ready-to-drink cocktail containers in a new patent infringement lawsuit in Texas federal court.

The Beverage Ranch’s SlamZees products infringe US Patent No. 11,338,955, which covers BuzzBallz’s “unique, truncated, round, transparent, colorful, plastic resin” single-serve cocktail containers, according to the complaint filed June 21 in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
