The U.S. International Trade Commission has instituted an investigation based on a patent-infringement complaint filed by Bissell Inc. that seeks to block U.S. imports of a range of Tineco Intelligent Tech. Co.’s products that both mop and vacuum, the agency said Thursday.
Bissell sued Tineco last month at both the ITC and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleging that four products from Tineco’s iFloor line and four from its Floor One line of devices infringe five Bissell patents, all issued in 2021.
