Bayer Drops Claritin Trademark Suit that Drew Antitrust Response

Bayer Healthcare LLC and a New Jersey couple it accused of selling more than $1 million-worth of products bearing the company’s trademarks announced they’re in the process of settling the lawsuit.

The company reached a deal in principle to end its suit targeting Samuel and Miriam Schiff and their online storefronts, including Sigma Deals LLC, a third-party re-seller of consumer goods, Bayer’s lawyer said in a Tuesday letter to the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
