Autry Beats Reebok Misconduct Claims, $10,000 Daily Fine Request

A federal judge denied Reebok International Ltd.'s motion to fine Autry International S.r.l $10,000 per day for allegedly hiding documents in a lawsuit over sneaker trademarks.

The US District Court for the District of Massachusetts in a Monday order accepted Autry’s testimony that it properly produced documents from its acquisition by Style Capital, but Judge Richard G. Stearns warned he’d issue sanctions “should it later become apparent that this representation is false or misleading.”

Reebok sued the rival shoemaker in May 2023, accusing Autry of selling knockoffs that infringe Reebok trademarks, including its Window Box, Crosscheck, and Stripecheck designs.
