American Airlines Gets Copyright Win in Mixed Skiplagged Ruling

Flight search engine Skiplagged Inc. infringed American Airlines Inc.‘s copyrights, a Texas federal judge ruled, though he cleared the “hidden-city ticketing” platform of American’s breach-of-contract claims.

American’s other claims alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition will continue toward trial, Judge mark T. Pittman of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas said in an opinion Wednesday disposing of both parties’ motions for summary judgment.
