Scaffolding Firm, Insurers End Fight Over $411 Million Verdict

A scaffolding company is withdrawing its claim seeking insurance coverage for a $411 million verdict rendered against it by a Louisiana jury in a personal injury case.

Brock Services LLC and its excess insurers Everest Insurance (Ireland) DAC and Ascot Syndicate 1414 have agreed to end the coverage dispute over the jury award, they said in a Thursday joint filing in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissing the insurers’ suit.
