A Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. unit is dropping its coverage suit against a Seattle-based substance abuse treatment center related to privacy litigation that followed a February 2024 data breach.
“The underlying lawsuits have been resolved and there is no further reason for prosecution of this action,” Scottsdale Insurance Co. said in a notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice filed Oct. 17 in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.
