Several proposed class actions against a Seattle-based substance abuse treatment center over a February data breach aren’t covered under the center’s insurance policy, a Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. unit said in a lawsuit.
The terms of the policy issued to Therapeutic Health Services, including an exclusion for access to confidential information, barred coverage, Scottsdale Insurance Co. said in a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington.
