Mattel Sleeper Liability Insurance Issues Left Open by Judge

A Delaware state judge denied summary judgment on various insurance coverage issues related to product liability litigation alleging the Rock-N-Play Sleeper sold by Mattel Inc. subsidiary Fisher-Price Inc. was defectively designed and hurt or killed infants.

The remaining issues involve genuine disputes of material fact that can’t be resolved on summary judgment, Delaware Superior Court Judge Meghan A. Adams said in a supplemental ruling Monday.
