Long Island School District, Insurers Settle Sexual Abuse Coverage

A New York school district and its insurers are working out the terms of a settlement to end litigation over coverage for sexual abuse claims.

The Long Island school district’s suit has been settled in principle and the parties will file a stipulation of dismissal once the settlement is finalized and paid, Bay Shore Union Free School District said in a status report filed Nov. 14 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
