A Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. unit is dropping its case against Mars Inc. over coverage for a lawsuit alleging the food conglomerate intentionally marketed ultra-processed foods to children despite knowing about possible adverse health consequences.

Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. filed its notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice Friday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
