A federal court tossed a dispute between a liability insurer and the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee over an underlying suit alleging the committee failed to protect a swimmer from sexual abuse by a team member.
The US District Court for the District of Colorado lacked subject matter jurisdiction over the coverage dispute, Judge S. Kato Crews wrote in a Wednesday order dismissing the insurer’s suit without prejudice.
