Hartford Settles Privacy Coverage Suit Against Software Firm

A Hartford Insurance Group Inc. unit dropped a suit against a workforce software firm over underlying biometric privacy litigation.

The US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois dismissed Hartford Underwriters Insurance Co.'s lawsuit without prejudice Tuesday after the carrier filed a notice of voluntary dismissal Dec. 1.
