Court Dismisses Privacy Insurance Suit Over Failure to Serve

An Illinois federal judge dismissed a dispute over insurance coverage for litigation alleging a farm product retailer violated the privacy of job applicants after a Hartford Insurance Group Inc. unit failed to serve its complaint.

The US District Court for the Central District of Illinois dismissed Hartford Underwriters Insurance Co.'s suit against Buchheit Enterprises Inc. without prejudice Thursday.
