J&J Employees Drop Drug Pricing Lawsuit After Second Dismissal

Two former Johnson & Johnson employees dropped their case against the company Thursday, after a New Jersey federal judge largely dismissed the case twice.

Drug pricing executive Ann Lewandowski sued the health care giant in February 2024, alleging the company breached its fiduciary duties by failing to negotiate better drug prices for its employee health plan. The case ignited a wave of public scrutiny on employers as other major companies like Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase & Co. were hit with similar lawsuits.
