Tylenol Consumer Drops Titanium Dioxide Suit Against J&J Unit

A Tylenol consumer has voluntarily dropped a suit alleging Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. deceptively concealed the health risks of the color additive titanium dioxide.

Valerie Morrison sued JJCI in the US District Court for the Southern District of California. She alleged that titanium dioxide, which enhances the white appearance of certain food and drugs, accumulates in the human body and can harm the liver, spleen, kidney, brain, and lungs.
