Trans Idahoans Seek Redo for Temporary Relief From Medicaid Ban

Medicaid-eligible transgender Idahoans are asking a federal trial judge to take another look at their request to stop state officials from implementing a law that excludes gender-affirming care from Medicaid coverage pending trial on the measure’s legality.

Patricco of the US District Court for the District of Idaho wrongfully denied the plaintiffs’ Sept. 30, 2024 request to pause HB 668 in late December 2024, the plaintiffs said in a motion for reconsideration filed Monday.
