Medicaid-eligible transgender Idahoans were denied a bid for injunctive relief in their suit challenging a state law that bars use of funds for gender-affirming care.
The plaintiffs seek Medicaid coverage for gender-affirming care that HB 668 no longer allows, Chief Magistrate Judge Raymond E. Patricco of the US District Court for the District of Idaho said in a Dec. 31 order denying the plaintiffs’ motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction.
