Sysmex, Danaher Settle Blood-Analyzer Patents Suit Before Trial

Sysmex Corp. and Danaher Corp.’s Beckman Coulter Inc. have settled a patent-infringement suit over blood-sample analyzers less than three weeks before a jury trial had been set to begin, a court filing shows.

No details of the agreement were included in a joint request for dismissal with prejudice filed Friday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. The court hasn’t yet approved the pact, which would dimiss Sysmex’s claims and Beckman’s counterclaims.
