Freeze on Transgender Care Ban for Ohio Minors Remains in Force

Ohio’s top court on Wednesday denied the state’s request to let it start enforcing a law that bans gender-affirming care for minors, limits transgender athletes’ participation in school sports, and protects parents’ rights to retain custody of their trans children.

The Ohio Supreme Court didn’t give any reason for its decision, from which Chief Justice Sharon L. Kennedy dissented in part without comment.
