An Ohio judge blocked a GOP-passed state law that, among other things, restricts medical care for transgender minors, writing that those challenging it are likely to succeed in proving that it’s unconstitutional.
Franklin County Common Pleas Judge Michael J. Holbrook said his temporary restraining order will stay in effect for two weeks or until he holds a hearing on a request for the law to remain on hold while the litigation is pending. The law was set to go into effect next week.
