Telecommunications service provider Frontier West Virginia Inc. showed that a count for which it was found liable in a False Claims Act suit should be vacated to prevent reputational harm, a federal district court said.
Frontier and whistleblower Citynet LLC reached an $18 million settlement in December to resolve claims that Frontier improperly sought payments under a federally funded broadband technology program.
