Ford Sued for Records Linked to Alleged F-150 Emissions Scheme

Ford Motor Co. was sued for records in Delaware by a shareholder seeking to probe claims that the automaker’s leadership exposed it “to colossal legal, regulatory, environmental, and pecuniary risk” by misrepresenting the fuel economy and emissions of two popular pickup trucks.

“Ford’s potentially misstated fuel economy ratings have precipitated a flood of government investigations and lawsuits, including a criminal investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice,” the Chancery Court suit says.
