Disney Beats Shareholder Lawsuit Over Feud With DeSantis (2)

Walt Disney Co. beat a shareholder lawsuit in Delaware over its opposition to a Florida law limiting classroom discussion of sexual orientation, a move that led to a bitter public feud with Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

Vice Chancellor Lori W. Will ruled for the company late Monday, denying an investor’s bid for internal company documents shedding light on Disney’s response to the controversial “Don’t Say Gay” bill. There’s no evidence the company or its leaders did anything wrong, the judge found in a 36-page ruling for Delaware’s Chancery Court.
