Comcast Investors Reject Scrutiny of How Politics Match Values

Comcast Corp. shareholders on Monday voted against a proposal asking the telecommunications giant to take a closer look at how its political spending lines up with its values and policies.

The proposal, brought by Arjuna Capital at the company’s annual meeting, asked Comcast to report metrics on its values and donations alignment, explaining any mismatches as well as plans to make changes.
