Canada has proposed sustainability disclosure rules that mesh with global reporting standards that are slowly starting to take off.
The Canadian Sustainability Standards Board on Wednesday asked for public comments on its draft rules, which it said align with International Sustainability Standards Board guidelines published in June 2023 covering climate and general sustainability reporting. The public will have until June 10 to offer feedback.
