Boeing Investors Advance Lawsuit Over Safety Statements, Risks

Boeing Co. investors can proceed with allegations of securities fraud over statements that safety was a top priority at the company, a federal court ruled in a proposed class action that followed a mid-flight incident.

The brief written order came after a Sept. 6 hearing overseen by Leonie M. Brinkema of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
