Federal law doesn’t let the Department of Defense (DOD) injure its neighbors, adjacent properties, or their businesses by polluting their water, attorneys representing dozens of plaintiffs maintain.
“Like any other landowner, the government is subject to state tort liability when it causes water pollution,” attorneys said in one of three sets of documents filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of South Carolina as part of national PFAS litigation.
