Texas County Sues EPA for Withholding Solar Program Grants

Texas’ largest county sued the Trump administration Monday for canceling its $250 million “Solar for All” grant set to fund solar energy infrastructure in low-income communities.

Harris County, Tex. alleged the Environmental Protection Agency illegally withheld the funds as Congress appropriated the money under the Inflation Reduction Act, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
