The Environmental Protection Agency has announced the selection of 60 recipients of $7 billion in grant awards through the Solar for All grant competition, the agency said Monday.
The grant awardees have been selected to deliver residential solar projects to more than 900,000 households with the goal of developing long-lasting solar programs that benefit low-income and disadvantaged communities, according to the EPA.
The grant opportunity is funded by the Biden administration’s Inflation Reduction Act, which created the EPA’s $27 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, the EPA said.
