Michigan Court Dismisses Palisades Nuclear Plant Challenge

Beyond Nuclear and other energy-focused groups lost their bid to challenge the restoration of Michigan’s Palisades Nuclear Plant after failing to fulfill a court filing requirement.

The case was dismissed because the groups didn’t pay the filing fee of $405, which was due by Dec. 2 at the latest, Judge Jane M. Beckering of the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan said.
