Let Us Defend Needed PFAS Advisory, North Carolinians Ask Court

North Carolina community, public health, and environmental justice groups asked a federal court on Friday to let them defend health protections offered by a drinking water advisory for two PFAS that the EPA issued in June.

A coalition of seven groups and five North Carolina residents led by the Center for Environmental Health petitioned the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to let them intervene in a lawsuit the Chemours Co. filed in July.
