Gas associations on Tuesday petitioned the US Supreme Court to hear their case challenging an alleged Biden-era block on the sale of non-condensing natural gas furnaces and commercial water heaters.
“The Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) prohibits the Department from imposing this mandate on consumers,” the American Gas Association, American Public Gas Association, and National Propane Gas Association said in the petition, referring to the US Department of Energy.
