Federal Agencies Escape Lawsuit Over West Virginia Power Plant

West Virginia residents lost their bid to prevent a major power plant and data center project from being built after a court dismissed the case, saying they sued before federal permits were approved.

The residents failed to establish standing to sue federal agencies, Judge Robert C. Chambers of the US District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia said Monday.
