EPA’s Dry Cleaning Solvent Rule Opposed in Latest Chemical Suit

Two chemical trade associations have asked a federal appeals court to review an EPA rule that banned all consumer and most industrial and commercial uses of a widely used solvent.

The American Chemistry Council and Georgia Chemistry Council petitioned the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit on Monday to review the perchloroethylene rule the Environmental Protection Agency issued last month.
