EPA Makes Case to Overturn Court Order to Manage Fluoride Risks

A district court judge violated the chemicals law and legal principals through multiple rulings he made in a lawsuit challenging an EPA decision about fluoride, the environmental agency said in its appeal.

The Environmental Protection Agency on July 18 submitted its opening brief to the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in a case seeking to reverse a lower court’s ruling about the risks of fluoride in drinking water.
