EPA Invites Comments on Carbon Tetrachloride Rule Implementation

The EPA is inviting comments on problems companies, workers, or communities are having or expect to have with a Biden-era rule restricting the solvent carbon tetrachloride.

The Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday posted a request for comments on the worker safety limit imposed by a regulation issued last year.

The agency asked for perspectives on any existing or anticipated implementation issues associated with the rule’s requirements, some of which have already gone into effect.
