The EPA is asking a federal court to pause litigation challenging the agency’s carbon tetrachloride regulation while the agency reconsiders the workplace limit and other aspects of the rule issued during the Biden administration.
The Environmental Protection Agency plans to reconsider its worker exposure limit of 0.03 parts per million among other parts of the carbon tetrachloride rule issued last year, the agency told the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in an abeyance motion filed Friday.
