Environmental Groups Hit With Setback in Water Standards Suit

Environmental groups lost their bid to get a court order compelling the Environmental Protection Agency to provide an annual list of water quality standards in effect because they didn’t give sufficient notice of the suit.

The groups’ notice didn’t specify which lists they alleged were flawed in their Clean Water Act suit, Judge Richard Seeborg of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Tuesday.
