Entegris Sees Lawsuit Over Chemical Imports Reporting Dismissed

An environmental group dropped its suit alleging Entegris Inc. violated import reporting requirements under the Toxic Substances Control Act.

The Center for Environmental Health filed a voluntary dismissal notice in the US District Court for the District of Columbia Tuesday. The dismissal was without prejudice, which suggests there’s been no settlement.

  • According to the suit filed last year, Entegris violated the Environmental Protection Agency’s data reporting rule for imports of cobalt sulfate, phosphoric acid, di-(2-ethylhexyl)amine and 2-propylheptanol
  • The group alleged Entegris failed to report certain chemicals in volumes of 25,000 pounds or greater between 2016 and 2019
