The Center for Environmental Health on Wednesday filed two separate lawsuits against chemical manufacturers for allegedly violating reporting requirements for imports under the Toxic Substances Control Act.
The companies’ “failure to report these imports undermines EPA’s efforts under TSCA to evaluate and address chemical risks” and “prevents the public from tracking the movement of unsafe chemicals,” the group told the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
